The first day of our Philippines trip began with touching down at Manila International Airport, ready for the weeks ahead. The airport sits between Pasay and Parañaque, about 7km south of Manila itself, and it’s the main way into the country.
The plan from here would take us from island hopping in Siargao to a week exploring Bohol, with plenty more besides, and we could hardly wait to get started.
