A quiet day around the pool and by the Loboc River, after two full days of sightseeing and boat trips.
Loboc is one of Bohol’s old towns. Its coral-stone church, San Pedro Apostol, was built between 1670 and 1734 and is a National Cultural Treasure. The 2013 earthquake brought down part of its front and bell tower, and it reopened in 2021 after years of restoration. For our last evening in Loboc we had a fantastic meal at the Fox and Firefly restaurant, a lovely way to finish before moving to the coast.
