We swapped the beaches of Bohol for El Nido, catching an AirSWIFT flight from Bohol. AirSWIFT flies small turboprop planes into Lio Airport, just outside El Nido, and before long we were coming in to land among the islands.
Our new base was the Cuna Hotel, whose best feature is its rooftop bar and restaurant. That’s where we spent our first evening, eating good food and taking in the views over El Nido.
