Following a vibrant breakfast at Kynd Cafe, we journeyed inland to Ubud. As the landscape shifted to emerald rice fields and lush jungles, we felt the shift into the spiritual and cultural heart of Bali.

We spent an evocative morning at the Mason Elephant Sanctuary. Learning about the conservation and daily lives of these magnificent, gentle creatures was a moving experience that highlighted the island’s commitment to protecting its diverse wildlife.
