Day nine was spent lounging by the pool at Hotel Puchet with cocktails again.
We’d liked Casa Thai so much on day four that we went back for dinner that evening, making the same short walk from the hotel. San Antonio grew from a small fishing village on a natural harbour the Romans called Portus Magnus, which is where its full name, Sant Antoni de Portmany, comes from. Tourism only arrived in the late 1950s.
