Day six started with another lazy afternoon by the pool before a night out in San Antonio. We’d booked a table for dinner at Café del Mar, probably the best-known sunset spot on the island. It sits on the rocks of San Antonio’s sunset strip and first opened its doors in June 1980.
From our table we watched the sky turn amber and violet as the sun went down, glowing deep orange over the bay with a small island in silhouette on the horizon. It was lively but still relaxed, which is Ibiza at its best. Afterwards we walked next door to Café Mambo for drinks, with house music playing and a big crowd along the waterfront.
