Arrival in Seminyak
Landing at Ngurah Rai airport, welcome drinks at our villa in Seminyak, and our first evening in Bali eating Mexican food at Motel Mexicola.
Tranquillity at Potatohead
A day on a pre-booked daybed at Potatohead Beach Club in Seminyak, Bali, with the fee credited towards cocktails and food by the pool.
Wandering Seminyak
A slow day in Seminyak, Bali: browsing the boutique shops, a walk along Seminyak Beach and a Balinese massage to finish the afternoon.
The Wonders of Nusa Penida
A day trip from Bali to Nusa Penida with Bali Customized Tours, visiting Kelingking Beach and Angel’s Billabong, then back by speedboat.
High Energy at Finns
A livelier day at Finns Beach Club in Bali, with live DJs, attentive service and ocean views, after a few quieter days around Seminyak.
Moments of Recovery
A rest day at our villa pool in Seminyak, Bali, with a local massage, before heading inland to Ubud for the cultural part of the trip.
The Best of Balinese Flavour
Our final day in Seminyak, Bali: the best slow-cooked ribs we’ve ever had at Warung Nia, then a wander round the local markets.
Into the Cultural Heart
Breakfast at Kynd Cafe in Seminyak, then the drive inland to Ubud through rice fields and jungle, into the cultural centre of Bali.

A morning at Mason Elephant Park in Bali, learning about elephant conservation and the daily lives of these gentle animals.

A day with Bali Customized Tours visiting seven hidden waterfalls, hiking through rice fields, rock sliding and trying the Bali swings.
The Sacred Monkey Forest
Riding a moped to the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud, Bali, a rainforest laid out on Hindu principles and home to hundreds of playful monkeys.
Sunrise over Mount Batur
A pre-dawn trek up Mount Batur, an active volcano in Bali, to watch sunrise over the caldera with coffee, breakfast and a view to Lombok.
The Tegalalang Rice Terraces
