Zurich, then Wengen with our friend Karl Watson's group: the Royal Walk, Bachalpsee, Mürren, Giessbach, the Jungfraujoch and Trümmelbach Falls.

Arrival in Zurich
Our Switzerland trip starts in Zurich: bags in the SBB lockers, salads at Ass-Bar, Hotel Montana and dinner at the Rheinfelder Bierhalle beer hall.
Artisanal Chocolate and City Exploration
Day 2 in Zurich: moving to the Crowne Plaza, an afternoon at the Lindt chocolate factory and tapas at Iberia Tapas with our new tour group.
The Ascent to Wengen and Männlichen
We take the train up to Wengen, check into the Braunbär Hotel & Spa and ride the cable car to Männlichen for the Royal Walk and views of the Eiger.
Mirror Reflections at Lake Bachalpsee
A hike from Grindelwald First through wildflower meadows to Lake Bachalpsee, photographing the peaks reflected in the lake, then back down to Grindelwald.
The Mürren Trek and Alpine Meadows
Our trek from Grütschalp up to the Allmendhubel viewpoint, lunch on the terrace, then the flower trail through Schiltalp to Mürren above Lauterbrunnen.
Giessbach Falls and Iseltwald
A boat from Interlaken across Lake Brienz to Giessbach, a hike beside the Giessbachfälle waterfalls, then down to Iseltwald and the bus back.
Standing at the Top of Europe
We ride the train from Wengen to Jungfraujoch, visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx Observatory above the Aletsch Glacier, then hike from Kleine Scheidegg.
The Hidden Thunder of Trümmelbach
Visiting Trümmelbach Falls, ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, then walking back to Lauterbrunnen.
Reflection in the Heart of Wengen
Saying goodbye to our tour group, then a slow last day wandering the car-free streets of Wengen and a coffee before leaving the Bernese Oberland.
Golden Hour at the Polyterrasse
Back to Zurich by train, a last meal at Rheinfelder Bierhalle, then the Polybahn funicular to the Polyterrasse to watch sunset over the city rooftops.
Farewell to the Swiss Skyline
Our final morning in Zurich: coffee at Französ, a last walk through the city, lunch at Yard Bird and the flight home to London Gatwick.
